Victorville Man Arrested for Second DUI 2 Months After His First DUI

KTLA reports that a Victorville man was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Wednesday, December 14, after San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department dispatchers received calls about a reckless driver near the intersection of Hesperia and Verde Roads.

A sheriff’s deputy responded to the scene and intercepted 33-year-old Scott Woodward at approximately 8:00 p.m.

San Bernardino authorities say that Woodward was uncooperative, and the deputy found several liquor bottles in his vehicle.

Woodward was arrested and taken into custody while his vehicle was impounded.

Upon investigation, the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department later discovered that Woodward had been previously arrested in the same area on October 31 and had recently been released after posting bail.

Since Woodward has been a repeat DUI offender in less than 10 years, under California Vehicle Code 23152 VC, he could be charged with a felony, face a year in jail, a two-year suspension of his driver’s license, three or more years in prison, five years of probation, and fines of more than $2,000.

Anyone with any information about Woodward or his latest DUI incident is asked to contact the Victorville Police Department at (760) 241-2911. Authorities say that Woodward may also be using the name John Scott Snowcfoft.
