‘General Hospital’ Star Faces 2 Felony DUI Counts

The Los Angeles Times reports that General Hospital actor, Haley Pullos, has pleaded not guilty to two felony charges following a wrong-way crash in Pasadena in April.

According to a statement issued by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, 24-year-old Pullos was charged with one felony count of driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury and one count of driving with a blood-alcohol level greater than .08 percent and one misdemeanor count of misdemeanor hit-and-run resulting in property damage.

At her arraignment in Pasadena on June 20, Pullos entered her not-guilty pleas.

“Drunk driving remains a grave concern in our communities, claiming thousands of innocent lives each year,” a representative of the DA’s office said. “Charging Haley Pullos with felony DUI causing injury underscores the severity of this offense.”

According to arrest records, on April 29, Pullos was driving on the 134 Freeway in Pasadena when she suddenly swerved, cleared a dividing barrier, and struck another vehicle near the Colorado and Orange Grove exits.

Firefighters responded to the scene and had to extricate both motorists from the wreckage of their vehicles. Both Pullos and the other driver were hospitalized after the crash.

Just before the freeway crash, Pullos had allegedly been in a hit-and-run traffic collision.

According to police officers, firefighters, and hospital staff, Pullos acted aggressively toward them.

Pullos is scheduled to appear in court again on July 27.
