“General Hospital” Star Arrested for Wrong-Way DUI

According to a recent article on the ABC 7 website, 24-year-old daytime drama actress, Haley Pullos, was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a wrong-way crash on the 134 Freeway in Pasadena last month.

Investigators say that on April 29, Pullos was driving a 2019 white Ford traveling westbound at approximately 60 miles per hour in the eastbound lanes when she collided with a 2020 Kia near the Orange Grove exit.

Firefighters and paramedics from the Pasadena Fire Department responded to the scene where the two vehicles were severely mangled from the head-on collision.

One of the crash victims had to be extricated from the wreckage. They were taken to an area hospital to be treated for significant injuries. Other crash victims were also transported to the hospital for treatment.

In a statement, the California Highway Patrol said that responding officers noted that Pullos exhibited slurred speech and smelled strongly of alcohol.

Pullos was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving the wrong way on the freeway, causing injury.

The suspect was also transported to the hospital, got physical with hospital staff, and required sedation.

Upon further investigation, authorities learned that Pullos had been involved in a prior hit-and-run crash in Pasadena before she entered the freeway.

The producers of “General Hospital,” ABC Television, had no comment when asked about the incident.

The California Highway Patrol asks anyone with any information about the crash to contact their Altadena office at (626) 296-8100. Those calling after hours may contact the  CHP’s Los Angeles Communication Center at (323) 259-3200.
