Two Officers Injured at DUI Stop

In Pomona, California over the weekend, two officers were injured while executing a traffic stop. The incident occurred on Mission Avenue. A spokesperson for the police, Sgt. William Tucker did make a statement.

The two unnamed officers were pulling over a suspected drunk driver when their patrol car, which was marked, was struck by another vehicle heading east. The driver of that vehicle was arrested on charges of suspicion of DUI. The outcome of the original traffic stop is unknown.

The two officers were taken to the hospital. Their condition is currently unknown. The police department is asking anyone who might have witnessed the accident to come forward.
