Two Arrested on DUI Charges After Crashing Into a Wall in Santa Clarita

According to a story appearing on the My News LA website, six people are counting themselves very lucky after a DUI motorist crashed into a wall near where they were standing. According to a later story released by NBC in Los Angeles, those six people were reported to have suffered minor injuries. 

In a statement, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Santa Clarita Station, at approximately 1:53 a.m. on Sunday, deputies were called to the Black and Blue Restaurant located at 24300 Center Drive, just outside Valencia Center.

A woman had allegedly crashed her SUV into a wall at the popular restaurant and bar after having done “donuts” around the establishment’s parking lot. 

Eyewitnesses told the deputies that the two women inside the SUV were attempting to switch seats just before the crash occurred.

Both women were arrested on suspicion of DUI and taken into custody. 

Both the LACSD and the Santa Clarita Police Department are continuing to investigate the incident.
