In a statement, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said a man driving a black Ford F-150 was spotted by a deputy from the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station driving at an unsafe rate of speed. The deputy also suspected the motorist may have also been driving under the influence of alcohol.

Multiple San Diego County Sheriff’s units and San Diego Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene. Several adult occupants of the other vehicles were evaluated at the scene. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Laguna was transported to an area hospital for evaluation by doctors before being taken into custody and booked into jail. He has been charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol with injury, driving under the influence of alcohol while on probation for a previous DUI charge, felony evading, and other related charges.
