More Details Emerge From Tiger Woods Crash

KXAN NBC News reported recently that more details have emerged about a recent motor vehicle accident last week in the southern California area involving champion golfer Tiger Woods.

According to a news release issued by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office as well as information from documents from the L.A. County Superior Court, Tiger Woods was found unconscious in a Hyundai Genesis GV80 SUV after a horrifying wreck that sent his vehicle tumbling down a hillside. Contrary to earlier published reports, a local resident, not a sheriff’s deputy, was first to arrive at the accident scene. The responding neighbor stated that the man had lost consciousness in the impact.

The first sheriff’s deputy on scene stated that Woods was conscious upon his arrival at the accident scene, although he appeared to be in shock. He had suffered severe traumatic injuries to his right leg and cuts on his face. The golfer reportedly told deputies in the hospital he’d lost his memory of the crash occurring and even the driving before the accident.

While there’s no evidence that DUI played a role in this incident, the famous golfer is no stranger to automotive controversy after a 2017 DUI charge led to the golfer checking himself into rehab.
