According to officials from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began between 7:55 p.m. and 8:05 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 along the border of Villa Park and Orange, when officers tried to make a routine traffic stop of a 47-year-old man driving a pickup truck.
