In South Los Angeles, a woman and three young boys were injured when a car crashed into a house. A young girl also lost her life in the incident. The woman, who was identified as the children’s mother, was later arrested on suspicion of DUI according to police.
The accident, which occurred shortly before 6 p.m., happened in the 700 block of 93rd Street.
Firefighters and paramedics arrived at a chaotic scene. The female driver was trapped inside the vehicle and 4 children were scattered across the lawn.
The girl, who was ejected from the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The boys, who were all under the age of 6, were hospitalized. The unnamed driver is 30 years old.
It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol were a factor and the accident is still under investigation. It is also unknown if anyone was in the home at the time of the accident.
