El Dorado Hills Woman Arrested on Suspicion of DUI After Crashing Into Firehouse

The Long Beach Post News reports that a woman from Sacramento’s El Dorado Hills was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Friday after she crashed her vehicle into a fire station in Alamitos Beach.

Long Beach Officials have identified the driver as 57-year-old Woman. This person crashed into the garage of the Long Beach Fire Department’s Alamitos Beach fire station located in the 1600 block of Third Street.

Police say the woman was apprehended and held by firefighters until Long Beach Police officers responded to the scene.

An investigation reveals that the Women had also been involved in a separate hit-and-run crash near the intersection of 2nd Street and Temple Avenue earlier that day.

No one was injured in either crash.

She was taken into custody and is facing one count of hit-and-run causing property damage, one count of driving on a suspended license after a previous DUI conviction, one count of driving under the influence of alcohol, and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

Court documents indicate that She was arrested in August 2021 for DUI and disorderly conduct and, more recently, on June 21, 2022, for disorderly conduct.

Based on her previous DUI and disorderly convictions, a judge set her bond at $100,000.

The incident remains under investigation by the Long Beach Police Department.
