Drake Bell Leaves Jail Just 48 Hours After Entering

California law states that if convicted of a second DUI within a 10-year time span of the first, the convicted must spend a minimum of four days in jail.

30-year-old Drake Bell served 2 days of his 4-day sentence.

The former star of the Nickelodeon show Drake and Josh was arrested on December 21st, 2015 in Glendale, California. The arrest came after police spotted the actor driving erratically before coming to an abrupt stop at a traffic signal.

After failing a field sobriety test, Bell was taken into custody.

After posting $20,000 in bail, Bell was released and was charged with misdemeanor DUI.

The most recent charge came after a 2010 conviction in San Diego, California.

On Friday, September 2nd, Bell accepted a plea deal in regards to his charges. He was sentenced to four days in Los Angeles County Jail. However, good behavior allowed Bell to walk free on Saturday evening.

Beginning on September 26, Bell is due to start performing in the High School Nation tour, which kicks off in Texas.
