Cartwheels Lead to DUI Arrest in New Mexico

Fox 11 reported on the arrest of a local cheerleader who was found passed out behind the wheel. The police had been looking for her due to reports of reckless driving. When asked to step out of the vehicle, she was disoriented and couldn’t follow commands.

The officer attempted to perform a sobriety test by asking the woman to walk a straight line. Instead, she started doing cartwheels. When asked to do the test again, she continued doing cartwheels, then hit the officer. She’s now charged with battery and aggravated DWI.
