Officers at the scene did not tell reporters why they believed that the responsible driver in this accident was intoxicated.

Sometimes police will assume that a driver was drunk to see if the charge will stick. However, just being accused of a DUI can end someone’s career and leave a black mark on their employment record for the rest of their life. If the police accuse you of DUI, you must act fast and contact a DUI attorney that can help you.

You only have a few days to act before the wheels of justice turn against you. Your license could get automatically suspended without your even realizing it. Contact a DUI attorney as soon as you can if you’re accused of a crime involving intoxication and motor vehicles.
